ARE ALTAR CALLS OF SALVATION SOUL-WINNING OR CRAFTED SALESMANSHIP ?

Here is an example of what one will hear in each and every church when at the end of the service the pastor makes the altar call:
“Do you believe you are a sinner?”  “Yes”
“Do you believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood to wash away our sins? “Yes”
“Then bow your head, and repeat a short prayer after me, and ask Jesus to come into your heart.”
The prayer is repeated, it is done.
“Now you are saved!” “I am?”
“The Bible says you are saved, you do believe in the Bible?” “Of course I do!”
“Then you are saved, right?” “Right”
Regardless of what many ministers show us on Christian television about those great meetings and where according to them souls are being brought into the kingdom by the tens of thousands, it is my opinion however that the majority of these decisions for Christ are not real genuine.  For if all those salvations were real, then where are all the thousands of souls which have been saved?  Why are America and the rest of the world not in a great revival, rather then being on a downhill slope into sin and depravity?
Could it be that instead of being born again, people are being “stillborn” as a result of slick salesmanship techniques?  As a result, individuals all across the world believe but they do not know what they are believing.  They have been deceived, are bitter, have been given false hope and are usually on their way to hell by means of a false profession.

They have been executed by the machine guns of easy believism.

And the pastors and shepherds across the world are the ones pulling the trigger.
The prayer of Salvation must be done with a pure heart and sincere repentance, to experience the convicting influence of the Holy Spirit is the only sure way for real salvation, for before a person can be saved, he has to realise that he or she is lost.
A man once said: “A sinner can feel it in his head, and not believe in his heart.”  For a mental agreement of sin is far different than a heart belief of conviction and sorrow towards sin.
The easy-believism method ignores the real meaning of the term True discipleship for when someone gets saved life does not automatically become a rose garden, a joy ride to heaven.
The cost must be counted. GOD ASKS MORE OF BELIEVERS THAN A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION OR A ‘DECISION’ FOR CHRIST.
People should not be fooled onto thinking that it is an easy road.
For as C.H. Spurgeon declared A man that is almost saved is damned.

SO DO YOU HAVE RELIGION OR SALVATION?
There is no salvation in priests, prophets, sacraments, churches, charities, tears and treasures, rituals, penance or prayers, but only in Christ.
There are many names under heaven in which we can find religion, but salvation can be found in one only, and that is the name of Jesus Christ.
Religion is what man does to try to please God,
Salvation is what God does for man;  “All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 KJV
Religion says something in my hand I bring,
Salvation says: nothing in my hand I bring;  “For by grace are ye saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
Religion depends on our behaving,
Salvation depends on our believing;  “And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31 KJV
Religion says we must do our best,
Salvation says we must accept God’s best; “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 KJV
Religion tries to furnish a sacrifice,
Salvation trusts in a finished sacrifice;  “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished...” John 19:30 KJV
Religion says we must be found in God’s house,
Salvation says we must be found in Christ;  “And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” Philippians 3:9 KJV
The greatest hour in any person’s life is when he comes face to face with Jesus Christ and hears the Master’s call to fellowship and service of His kingdom . That is a divine appointment, a blessed moment a man never forgets.
Man needs more than a new start, he needs a new heart.
