Matthew 7:21, “Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
There are 18-inches between the mind and the heart. For many it is the
difference between Heaven and Hell. Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he
that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
In fact, Jesus' disciples asked Him if there
are FEW THAT BE SAVED?
(Luke 13:23-24,28). Interestingly, the Lord's reply wasn't a simple,
“No.” Instead, Jesus said that MANY would seek to enter into Heaven, but few
would enter. That tells us that many people have been deceived by the Devil,
just as Eve (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). Literally, most religious people will
be turned away. 2nd Timothy 3:5 evidences this frightening truth further,
telling us that many people “have a form of godliness,” but deny the saving
power of the Gospel of Christ.
Jeremiah 29:31, “Send to all them of the
captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite;
Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he
caused you to trust in a lie.” False prophets abound in these Last Days,
corrupting the simplicity which is in Christ Jesus (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4).
Will you miss Heaven by only 18-inches? Is it
all just in your head; but not in your heart? It is interesting that 2nd
Corinthians 4:4 teaches that Satan blinds THE MIND of
unbelievers; but Romans 10:9-10 teaches that a person is saved when they
believe from THE HEART.
It matters not if you merely attest to the
historical facts concerning Christ. Have you been born-again? Have you
trusted upon the Savior in your heart? Is Christianity just a philosophy to
you? Christ died, that's history; Christ died for me, that's salvation! Do
you have genuine Christianity or just churchianity?
Many people errantly “think” they are going to
Heaven, because some lying priest assured them, or because the lying Pope
told them so, or because some sinister minister claimed to forgive their
sins.; but 1st Timothy 2:5 teaches that Jesus Christ is the only MEDIATOR
between God and men. 1st Timothy 2:5, “For there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
I hope you won't miss Heaven. Many people have
come so close, but didn't make it. Acts 26:28, “Then Agrippa said unto
Paul, 'ALMOST' thou persuadest me to be a
Christian.” May I say, “almost” is not good enough friend.
If all you have is head knowledge, then you are
no closer to Heaven than the devils who have knowledge and tremble (James
2:19). You must TRUST upon the name of the Lord (Acts
16:30-31; John 20:31). Many people will be turned into Hell from the
presence of the Lord (Matthew 7:21-23). They will argue with the Lord,
boasting of their self-righteous deeds and mighty works done in the flesh in
Jesus' name; but Christ will reject them just as they have rejected Him in
their hearts. Religion is not enough. Judas (one of Christ's very apostles) was religious, but
yet lost and hellbound having a devil (John 6:70). The Pharisees were religious, but lost (Matthew 5:20). Ye must be
born again!

demonic spirit's favorite activity is making a person feel religious
